We may disclose information where required by law. Content referencing suicidal ideation or self-harm will be taken seriously. We reserve the right to contact relevant authorities if we find it necessary.

What is collected

Every form explains what data is collected and how it will be used. Sensitive information is collected only with your express consent.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it. Donation records are kept as required by law.

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information, and limit how much we collect. Please be aware that privacy and safety cannot be fully guaranteed in any online space. No online service can guarantee absolute privacy.

If a confidentiality incident occurs that presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify the people affected and the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Community confidentiality

Sharing or disclosing any personal information or identifying details discussed within this community is strictly prohibited to protect the privacy and confidentiality of all participants. Complaints

Contact us first. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec at cai.gouv.qc.ca.

Opting-in to legal services contact

The Human Line Project’s legal sponsor is K Neeley & Associates, PLC, an Arizona law firm (the “Firm”). The Human Line Project does not receive any fee based on whether you hire a lawyer or on the outcome of any case. If you have opted in to hearing about possible legal representation, The Human Line Project will share the information on this form with the Firm. The Firm may share it with the law firms it works with on these matters and with the service providers that manage its intake, each of whom must keep it confidential, so that a lawyer can contact you about whether you may have a legal claim. Your answer does not affect your access to any Human Line Project program or community. Opting in does not make you a client of any law firm.
